In 2013, Mr Sam Vanparijs (born 1992, Leuven) graduated from the Catholic University-College of Leuven with a Business Management diploma specialising in Law practice. During these studies, he also spent one term at the Letterkenny Institute of Technology in Ireland as part of an Erasmus exchange programme.
Knowing that his interest in the law went further than just the practical side, he decided to enrol in the Master’s in law transfer programme at the KU Leuven in 2013. He graduated with a Master in Law in 2017.
Throughout his law studies, Mr Vanparijs developed a decided interested in Criminal Law and Private Law. Among other things, he broadened his knowledge in these areas during his internships at the Public Prosecutor’s Office in Leuven and at the KBC Bank & Insurers in Brussels (in the Legal Dispute Resolution department).
Mr Vanparijs successfully completed the Special Course on Cassation Proceedings in Criminal Matters. This means that he has the certificate that is required as of 1 February 2016 to appeal in cassation.
Mr Vanparijs joined Adlex lawyers in September 2017.
